The public engagement process for the General Plan Update is ramping up for fall! A big ‘Mahalo’ to everyone who has already participated and shared their input. Hundreds of people have shared their Mānā`o through events, meetings, social media, written comments, phone calls and email! We hope that all involved will continue to participate and invite others to join the process.

Upcoming Event: Small Group Follow-Up Meetings
Last summer, Kaua‘i County Planners met one-on-one with over 30 community-based organizations and non-profit groups to receive valuable input on the issues facing Kaua‘i. As a follow up, on September 8th and 9th, the Planning Department invites community-based and non-profit groups to meet and discuss their input on key policies for the future.
Any community organization or non-profit may sign up for a meeting during these times:
Thursday, September 8, 2016 Liquor Commission Room 9:00am- 4:00pm
Friday, September 9, 2016 Piikoi A room 9:00am- Noon
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a meeting before all times slots are filled!
**Note: The Planning Department is holding separate meetings with Neighborhood Associations.
