The Discussion Draft of the General Plan is now available for public review and comment, with island-wide community meetings to follow.

The plan can be downloaded by clicking here. Printed copies will be also be on reserve at the public libraries.
WHAT’S IN THE DRAFT
The Discussion Draft is based on input provided during public outreach events over the course of 16 months including community, small group, neighborhood association, major landowners, and government agencies meetings as well as at special events and via social media.
The Draft contains a vision, goals, policies, actions and land use maps that our intended to guide Kaua‘i’s future growth.
HOW TO COMMENT
Comments to the draft can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, shared at the upcoming meetings or mailed to: Kaua‘i County Planning Department, Attn: Long Range Division; 4444 Rice Street, Suite A473, Līhu‘e, HI 96766.
